Organised by the Astley Walled Gardeners volunteer group, Apple Day returns to the Walled Garden on Sunday 24 September!

This popular annual community event will as always feature apple crushing and juicing activities, crates of heritage apples available in exchange for donations, plus lots of other great free entertainment and activities such as:

• Storytelling with the garden’s Green Man
• Junior archery competition
• Autumnal flower arrangments
• Free woodland workshop – have a go on the pole lathe or carve a woodland flower
• Free arts and crafts activities in the Coach House
• Live music
• Refreshments from sponsor Barrica in the Park
