Astley Hall, Coach House and Park is a beautiful attraction located next to Chorley town centre offering a great day out for all.
Within the grounds you will find Astley Hall, a breath-taking 16th century Grade I historic house, the modernised Coach House which includes the Coach House Gallery and Café Ambio, the Farmhouse, including Barrica in the Park, the scenic Walled Garden, acres of stunning parkland and an array of sports pitches and fantastic play areas.
Christmas 2025 Opening Hours
Please note the following changes to opening hours for the Christmas season (up to 21 December 2025)
Astley Hall will be open for self-guided visits around the ground floor of the hall, where you can enjoy the beautiful festive decorations installed by the Friends of Astley Hall volunteers
Wednesdays: 11am to 3pm (Self Guided Visits)
Saturdays and Sundays: 10am to 4pm (Self Guided Visits)
Astley Hall will shut for the winter closure period on 21 December 2025

This surprising building features some of the most breath-taking mid-17th century plaster ceilings in the country, rare painted panelling and very fine English oak furniture.
